Kristen is a co-owner and graphic designer at Peacock Design & Paperie, LLC. She graduated from West Chester University of Pennsylvania with a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree (concentration in graphic design) and a minor in Art History. She also holds a PA Certification in Art Education for grades K-12, achieved through Albright College. Kristen's design career began at a local design agency where she spent over seven years working on packaging design and sales materials for national name brands including Hershey's, Lowe's, and Bed Bath & Beyond. This is where she and current business partner, Amy, had met. Kristen began creating invitations as a hobby for family and friends. After receiving lots of positive feedback on her unique designs, she started Party Girl Invitations, LLC as a moonlighting business, and stationery design had soon blossomed into her full-time work. Kristen's talents include expert design skills in typography and logo design, layout, photo-editing, computer illustration, and an eye for detail. She really enjoys the renewed challenge of creating something fresh and unique for each client.
Amy is a co-owner & graphic designer at Peacock Design & Paperie, LLC. She earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree (concentrations in painting and graphic design), as well as a minor in Art History from Bloomsburg University. Since graduating, she has worked steadily as a graphic designer in an advertising agency, a multimedia company, an in-house art department, a marketing firm, and freelancing for a variety of clients and projects. Amy left a full-time position as an Art Director at a package design agency (where she and Kristen worked together) in order to work on Stellar Art and Design, LLC full time. Watercolor painting and digitally creating corporate identities, all-occasion greeting cards, and invitations have been Amy's artistic passions throughout the years. She loves collaborating with clients to create beautifully coordinated, personalized works of art for each of their special events.
As friends in the same business, Kristen and Amy decided that two heads were better than one and merged their businesses together in 2012 under the name, Peacock Design & Paperie LLC.
