Polka Dots, Swirls, and Sparkle Wedding Invitations = Perfect Match for this Wedding Couple4/29/2016 The bride, Ashley, came to us with lots of ideas for her wedding invitations and we were able to incorporate all of them into one beautiful suite. Polka dots, swirls, and sparkle come together seamlessly in this pocketfolder invitation suite. Invitations were mailed in a metallic envelope with custom printed envelope liner and our variable data envelope addressing service. All of the cards are printed on a shimmery, metallic quartz cardstock with various tones of pink, coral, and gold inks. The outside of the pocket has a satin, blush pink, ribbon bellyband closure topped with a gorgeous, flakeproof, layered glitter card printed with guests' names so that recipients know exactly who is invited.
The pocketfolder opens to the main invitation panel and a pocketful of information and fun. The invitation is embellished with two sparkling Swarovski crystals on either side of the couple's wedding monogram. The inserts include information for the reception, RSVP/reply card and envelope (with custom printed polka dot liner), Accommodations, Sunday breakfast info, directions, and a customer favorite~ the Wedding Timeline card. We especially love the Wedding Timeline card as it is a great place to show some personality and have fun with wording and icons (who doesn't want to "get their freak on?"). If there is one card that guests grab out of the invitation suite on the day of the wedding, it's this card. It contains the addresses for the ceremony and reception locations plus ~ you guessed it! ~ a timeline of the day's events from ceremony to after-party. Guests know when and where to be for each special moment of the wedding day. In addition to the wedding invitations, we created several matching wedding day items including ceremony programs (don't you love all of the polka dots?!), table number and seating cards, wine bottle labels, monogrammed beverage/appetizer napkins and bathroom hand towels, candy favor bag labels, and water bottle labels (not in photographs). Guests were also greeted at the hotel with "welcome" goodie bags. We provided the fabulous gold glitter bags (also flakeproof) with custom printed labels and the bride's parents filled the bags with locally-made treats and a Welcome card that we designed. The welcome card listed various to-do information that guests might take advantage of during their weekend stay. This wedding invitation and reception day package shows some of our favorite products. Wyomissing is a perfect little town. So quiet and pristine, you'd never guess it holds so many secrets. One of the best secrets was kept from the prettiest birthday girl in town ~ Nina Soffer, when her mother came to us with a "Pretty Little Liars" themed invitation request for her daughter's surprise Sweet 16 birthday party. Nina's invitation design was given all the glitz and glamour that Aria, Spencer, Hanna and Emily (the four main characters on ABC network's Pretty Little Liars) would expect on an invitation of their own for a party in Rosewood. Our custom designed invitation suite is shown wrapped in a sparkling silver glitter bellyband and monogram card with an iconic blood-dripping initial like the "A" for anonymous initial on the show. A metallic red envelope liner was placed inside a metallic silver mailing envelope for a gorgeous pop of color and then addressed for each guest and printed in our studio. But that is not where this well-thought out piece stops. Even the wording on the invitation and reply card reflect the essence of the teenage TV drama with show-specific wording starting with "Got a secret, can you keep it? Swear this one you'll save. Better lock it, in your pocket, and you'd better behave. If I show you, then I know you won't tell what I said. 'Cause Nina is turning sixteen, let's paint the town red." In addition, the "accepts" line on the reply card reads, "Accept, your secret is safe with me" and the regrets line follows with "Decline, never trust a pretty girl with an ugly secret." The themed invitation design was well received by Nina and all her friends and family in attendance at her rockin' Sweet 16 party. We were pleased to have worked with such a Pretty Little Family from Wyomissing, Pennsylvania. |
